Hunter Education Class at Ash Creek Wildlife Center

A hunter education class will be held at the Ash Creek Wildlife Area May 17th and May 24th.

Classes will run from 8:45 to 3:45 both days both Saturdays.

There is no fee for the class.  There is no minimum age but the reading material is 5/6th grade level.

Students that attend both class days, get a 80% or higher on a 100 question closed book examination and handle firearms safely in class will receive a certificate on the 24th which is a prerequisite to purchasing a California hunting license.

Individuals interested in taking the class need to sign the roster and pick up a study packet at the information booth located at the Ash Creek Wildlife Area headquarters building on Highway 299 between Bieber and Adin.  There is additional class information in the study packets.
