The unusual 9 hour power failure starting at 9:30 P.M. Saturday evening and lasting till 6:45 AM the next morning was caused by a broken insulator.
The incident happened East of Kaufenburg Rd. N.E. of Pitville. The difficulty of working at night in hard to reach country caused thr incident to last that long.
