Wednesday was a busy fire day in Big Valley. Early morning, Lookout Fire with assistance from Adin and Bieber were called to a structure fire at the Lookout Ranchettes. This fire totally destroyed a trailer and also damaged a "fifth wheel" and a jeep. No one was injured in this fire.
About 3 in the afternoon, an agricultural burn on Punkin Center Rd near Schott Rd. got away and burned about 90 acres in difficult terrain. Near the same time close to the Schott Rd. Fire, a second fire started, also as a result of an agricultural burn getting away. The second fire, near Iverson Rd. burned about 8 acres and also damaged the wooden structure of a road bridge.
